Register

Do I need to enter valid personal data and ID to register?

Yes, you need to enter your valid personal data to be able to register and use the application.

How to upload an ID?

You can upload it via camera feature or upload it from your gallery. Make sure you have given the access to the application to access your device's camera and gallery. You can also skip this step and upload your ID by accessing your profile settings.

Login

Why can't I login?

Make sure the email you entered and the password are correct, if needed you can click "forgot my password" to get a new password that we will send to the email you registered.

Why can't I login even though my email and password are correct?

Make sure your device connection is connected to the internet, then you can "restart" the application by closing it first and opening it again. If needed, you can click "forgot my password" to get a new password that we will send to the email you registered. If this is not possible, you can contact our customer help at www.hyppe.id/bantuan

Homepage

How do I access my profile?

You can click the profile picture icon in the upper right corner of the main application page to go to your profile.

How to refresh the main page

You can swipe the screen on the main page downwards to refresh the screen view on your main page.

Why the posts on the main page cannot be seen

Make sure your device is connected to an internet connection, then you can "refresh" the main page by swiping the screen downwards. If this method has been done and it still doesn't work, you can "restart" the application by closing it first and opening it again.

Start

How to upload content?

You need to press the Hyppe icon in the middle of the bottom of the screen and you can choose one of the features that we have provided.

Features:

  • HyppeStory: Upload content both images and videos that will disappear automatically within twenty-four (24) hours.
  • HyppeVid: HyppeVid: Upload long video content.
  • HyppeDiary: Upload short video content with a maximum duration of sixty (60) seconds.
  • HyppePic: Uploading image content

You can upload via camera feature or upload it from your gallery. Make sure you have given access to the application to access your device's camera, microphone, and gallery.

To upload content to HyppeStory, in addition by pressing the icon in the middle of the bottom of the screen, you can also press the (+) button next to your HyppeStory icon in the bar on the top left of the screen, if you have not yet uploaded content to your HyppeStory.

Why is my content that I uploaded not showing on the homepage?

Make sure your device is connected to an internet connection, then you can "refresh" the main page by swiping the screen downwards. If this method has been done and it still doesn't work, you can "restart" the application by closing it first and opening it again. The homepage contains content from all users. The content you have uploaded can be seen on your profile. You can click the profile picture icon in the upper right corner of the main application page to go to your profile.

Search

How to find friends in the application?

You can search for friends by pressing the "" icon located at the bottom of the screen on the main page. Then you can type the username in the column at the top of the screen to perform a search.

In addition to finding friends, this search feature can also search for HyppeVid, HyppeDiary, and HyppePic content.

How to view notifications?

You can view your notifications on the notification page by pressing the "” icon located at the bottom of the screen on the main page. You can filter the notifications that appear by pressing the category in the top column on the notification page. Notifications that appear on the page correspond to the time of the most recent appearance.

Why are my notifications not showing up?

Make sure your device is connected to an internet connection, then you can refresh the notification page by sliding the screen downwards. If this method has been done and it still doesn't work, you can "restart" the application by closing it first and opening it again.

How to disable pop up notification?

You can disable pop-up notifications through settings by pressing the “” icon on your profile page, select notifications and select off to disable. Or you can set it through the notification settings on your device.

Message

How to use messages?

You can communicate with your friends through the application using direct messages. To send a message you can select the "message" bar on your friend's profile. Or you can press the “” icon on the main page at the bottom right.

Looking for friends to send messages to

You can type your username in the search field on the direct message page.

Profile

How do I change my profile photo?

To change your profile photo, you can press the "Change Profile" column on your profile page. Then press the “” icon located next to your profile photo. Make sure you have granted access to the app to access the gallery on your device. Besides being able to change your profile photo, on this page you can also change or add your personal info.

How to change my username?

To change your username, you can press the "Change Profile" page field on your profile page, and choose username to change it.

Report and Spam

How do I report another user's content?

You can report content from other users who have violated our policies by pressing the “” button on the intended content, then selecting “report this post” and you are required to fill in the reason for reporting the content and file a report. The content you have reported will be entered into our system for further review. The content that you have reported will automatically no longer be seen by you.

How to report a user profile?

You can report profiles of other users who have violated our policies by pressing the “” button on the intended profile, then selecting “report this profile” and you are required to fill in the reason for the reporting, your report will be processed for further review.

You can also block users by selecting "block this account", the account you have blocked will not be able to see your profile or uploads.

Verified Account

What happens after I apply for a Hyppe verified badge

Hyppe never charges verification related fees or contacts you to ask for confirmation of your verification.

Once we've reviewed your request, you'll receive a notification in Activity up to 30 days after signing up letting you know whether your account is verified or not. You can tap   to see notifications in Activity.

If your request is rejected, you can send a new request back within 30 days. Remember, applying for a verified badge multiple times before receiving a decision will invalidate your registration.

Note that Hyppe can remove your verified badge at any time and can retrieve your badge or deactivate your account if you:

  • Advertise, transfer, or sell your verified badge.
  • Use your profile photo, bio or part of your name to promote services or other activities that violate our Community Guidelines or Terms of Use.
  • Trying to verify your account through a third party.
  • Switching your account from public to private too often.

If your account doesn't have a verified badge, there are other ways to let people know that your account is authentic. For example, you can link your official website, Instagram account, Facebook Page, YouTube or Twitter account to your Hyppe account.

Note: If you provide false or misleading information during the verification process, we will remove your verified badge and may take additional action to deactivate your account.

How do I request a verified badge for my Hyppe profile?

To request a verified badge, you must be a public figure, celebrity or entrepreneur and meet certain account and eligibility requirements. Make sure you're logged into the account you're applying for a verified badge.

How to request a verified badge:

  1. Tap  or your profile photo in the top right to open your profile.
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap Account, then tap Request Verification
  4. Enter your full name and provide the required proof of identification (example: Government-issued photo ID or official business document)
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions. 

Things that need to be considered:

  • Even if your account is eligible for verification, submitting a request does not guarantee that your account will be verified.
  • Submitting multiple verified badge requests doesn't guarantee your account will be verified and signing up for a verified badge multiple times before receiving a decision will cancel your registration.
  • Once verified, you cannot change the username on the account and verification cannot be transferred to another account.
  • If you receive a verified badge using false or misleading information during the verification process, we will remove your verified badge and may take additional action to deactivate your account.

What are the requirements for applying for a verified badge?

We consider a number of factors when evaluating a Hyppe account to determine if it meets our verification criteria.

In addition to complying with Hyppe's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines, your account must also:

  • Authentic: Represents a genuine registered person, business, or entity.
  • Unique: Represents the presence of a person or business in a unique way. Only one account per person or business can be verified, with the exception of accounts with certain languages. We do not verify general interest accounts.
  • Complete: Account must be public and have a bio, profile photo, and be active when you register.
  • Famous: Accounts must represent a well-known and sought-after person, brand or entity. We review accounts featured on various news sources and we do not consider paid or sponsored media content as a source of review.

Remember, if you receive a verified badge using false or misleading information during the verification process, we will remove your verified badge and may take additional action to deactivate your account.
